Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Just enough snow last night to groom trails this afternoon. There is a thick base of ice with packed snow over the base. We were able to set the classic tracks and the skate lane. A few thin spots and a little dirt showing in some places. The classic tracks are poor but not enough snow to do a real good job.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Hard pack/icy with some loose snow in places. Some exposed ground and branch/leaf litter in places. Very hard base, just waiting for some new snow on top to make it a friendly ski surface. Recommended only for intermediate/advanced skiers.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomed this morning and ground up a lot of ice. Trails are very skateable but I would use B skis as there are some bad patches. No rocks on trail but some frozen dirt and grass. Classic ski tracks are real icy and not in good shape. Until we get snow there is not much we can do. Good news... we are still skiing.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Snow from recent storm only an inch or two and doesn't appear to have been groomed in. Trails covered and good for skating, but classic tracks worn to ground in some places. Hopefully warm weather will not degrade it any more as there is a Candlelight ski event planned 5:30 to 8:30 at this site. Should be fun.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Trails groomed this morning and all are 6.5k are open. Trails are groomed for classic and skate skiing. We still need more snow as there are a few thin spots but 90% of trail in good shape. If careful A skis are fine.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Trails are settling some from two warm days above freezing. A few sections have mud or grass patches showing up but with cooldown and chance of new snow tomorrow should be able to be skied and perhaps even will get some grooming to flatten sections out more. Most of the system is still fully covered and nice to ski. Classic track is holding up well but have to step around a few spots.

First time here to enjoy trails along Rum River parks in Cambridge. Parking is kind of tricky to figure out first time. The trails have not been rolled since last snow so not too flat, but not overly difficult to ski. Even a diagonal track is present on side of skate area. Nice that no walkers have been on the trails, almost unbelievable compared to other areas. This is a nice track, so close to Cambridge city that great to come and ski, then could visit restaurant in town to relax afterward. I will be back.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Trails have been packed twice but not enough snow to set diagonal tracks. Course is OK for skiing. We left snow on the right side of course for diagonal skiers to ski in their own grooves and these seem to be holding up. The skate lane is firm but parts of trail are very thin and some dirt/grass is exposed. We have 5k open to ski but we need more snow to fully set all tracks.
