Groomed up the Candlelight loop Friday morning and it looks to be in very good shape with a fresh classic track. The Nordic Trail got less than an inch of new snow after Wednesday's grooming so we didn't regroom that. There is a nice deep track with a little fish snow in it.

Groomed the Nordic Trail today. Track looks great and should set up well overnight. Grooming plans: We decided to wait a day on the Candlelight loop when the forecast shifted to a little higher snowfall. Will catch that on Friday and touch up the Nordic again if necessary.

Both the Nordic Trail and candlelight loops were groomed today. The Nordic trail is in great shape with a nice deep track. The Candlelight loop has a solid track but there are stretches that are shallow, particularly along the river where the wind has been able to get at it.

Both the Nordic Trail and Candlelight loop were groomed and tracks set today. The trails are generally in excellent condition, with the exception of some debris (sticks and leaves) from the December windstorm. I plan to use my good skis but be alert for the occasional stick in the tracks. As a reminder, the Nordic Trail is groomed for classical skiing while the Candlelight Loop is designated as multi-use, open for any winter activities and pets are welcome, except for the week leading up to our annual candlelight event.

Got a ‘guesstimated’ foot or so of snow Friday night. Packed and dragged both the Nordic Trail and the candlelight loop but no tracks were set due to warm forecast. Trails are in good condition, very nice but a little soft. Hopefully a nice solid base to lead us into the ski season.
