Notes

A heavily wooded trail system with a variety of trail loops for all ability levels. Several advanced trails have climbs of more that 60 vertical feet. The trail is maintained by the Marshfield Area Ski Touring Foundation. A lodge with a large fireplace and restrooms is open to skiers on weekends.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Very good conditions: Skate Lanes have few areas messed up by deer digging for acorns. Classic tracks have some sections with exposed leaves and exposed gravel for a short section in the return lane near the gate. The lodge will be closed New Years day; open Noon - 4:00pm Sunday January 2.

X-C Trails: 7-8" fresh snow on bare frozen ground. Skating lanes may firm up tonight. Tracks formed well with no bare spots observed. Bike Trails: All packed today and plan is to groom tomorrow. Lodge might be open on Sunday. Mask required to enter lodge.

12" snow have fallen in the Forest this past week. All ski trails have skate lanes and classic tracks groomed in very good early winter condition. Bike and snowshoe trails are packed and plan is to be groomed on Monday.
