Notes

This trail is very hilly, rolling and scenic. It winds around five different lakes, through stands of maple, aspen and balsam. There are a couple fairly steep hills requiring intermediate skiing skills. A shelter with a fire ring is located on the trail.

DNR note at trailhead that it was rolled on Saturday. I skied the green trail and conditions were excellent. The base has frozen nicely and not soft at all. I used my old fishscales and had no issues with kick and very fast glide. Trail is well covered with snow but there are some sticks and roots poking through so just be careful with skis. Someone snowshoed the yellow loop but the tracks are covered/worn down a little so it wasn't too difficult to ski over them. Thanks to DNR for taking care of this awesome trail!
