Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I got second tracks. Groomer made at least two passes and it is perfection. The analogy in my head while skiing is that if the Packers play as well as Brown Deer skied they will beat SF 110 - 3.

Groomer went around today and went over new snow. Good conditions! It was also groomed Thursday.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skied the north loop this morning. It is skiable, I got exercise and am happy. Expect footprints from people walking their dogs in the track. There are a few icy areas - mainly in the woods. There is a little bit of debris in tracks. Yes, trail could use a grooming; but it's skiable. Thank you Milwaukee Parks for making these trails happen on your tight budget!

Excellent conditions for skating on the golf course. Firm with good coverage and just a small amount of debris. Thank you Milwaukee county parks staff for braving the cold to groom today!

Morning
Observation
Still no grooming at Brown Deer Park. Track consists of hard pack ice with some drifted snow! What a same we finally get some snow and the skiing is terrible/no grooming since Sunday.

Afternoon
Observation
[ Trails Open: All ]
Took a look, no grooming. Which is no grooming since Sunday when it was rolled again. Inquired at the maintenance building and the guy said they all left for the day. I asked for a text when grooming would be done and encouraged since it's wind blown and difficult in most sections.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Slow going today. No grooming and lots of drifted snow made for a difficult ski. Good to be out in sunshine.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Groomer was out again rolling and added to length of the loop. Now just shy of 5 KM. Little uneven and some drifting but with the better implement it should even out the track. No classic on other side but people are skiing in tracks. Woods has a lot of trees bent with the weight of snow making it difficult to pass.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Skied both sides of the road. The classic-only trail was windblown in the open areas with icy or slush spots in the woods. However, it was all skiable and well-covered (except little spots in the woods). Skate deck on the golf course side was very blown over; fine for a slow classic ski without tracks, tough for skate-skiers. That said, it was a beautiful early afternoon ski.
