Skate deck soft with full coverage. Only a few times did pile tips go to asphalt. No risk to skis. Classic set on both golf course and on north side as well. Nice to have something close. Thanks to the staff.

I had silky smooth striding on the set track on the Brown Deer golf course. Only saw one minor area with grass pushing through otherwise cover was good. Skate deck looked good, maybe a tad soft. Had been groomed this morning (after last night's snow).

Classic trails were groomed, good coverage. Just one place leaves were coming through and one place branches were coming through.

The grooming was great. Snow coverage was near 100%, there was one section that was getting down to the cart path. Bridges have good coverage, one was a bit bare. The flats were nice for skating.

The classic tracks north of the parking were in pretty good overall condition in the morning. The tracks are walked on and thin near the lagoon and sledding hill parking where it's on top of asphalt paths. There were also a few small bare ground spots and some debris, but not much of a problem. Nice to be able to stride in Brown Deer Park in December; Thanks County groomers!

Conditions were great for a late morning / early afternoon skate! Snow is a little soft but provides a good grip. Be careful on the bridges - one had a couple bare spots as you finish crossing it, and there was one spot where the groom trail passes over an asphalt golf card trail that had a couple tiny spots wearing thin. Should be avoidable. Two nicely cut classic track sets were also laid out on the classic-only loop. Thanks to the County Parks folks for a great job with grooming!

Skied the classic loop and was very pleased with very good double set of tracks so soon after the snowfall. A couple areas had some debris and a few bare spots but nothing that couldn’t be easily avoided. Saw the groomer going over the skate deck when I first arrived but will wait on that until things firm up a bit more.
