Not groomed, but good coverage throughout, crisscrossed by evidence of many other classic skiers and snowshoers before me. Snow depth was highly variable. At places I felt like I was jumping on a pillow, whereas at others I was breaking through a thin surface crust. Once I figured out how to be prepared for the unexpected, I had an enjoyable ski. Get it while it's still there!

Not groomed yet, but plenty of fast snow. A bit icy in spots, and I saw some grass beneath a few trees, but nothing unavoidable.
