Had not been groomed since 3" new snow on Saturday but it was great fun skiing in the classic tracks. Herringbone uphill in fluffy snow and snowplowing down the steep hills was great fun. Skate ski 24k would have been a challenge.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
We groomed all trails this morning, setting new classic track on everything but Sunset Rip. The temps were falling as we were out and the trail was setting up pretty fast. Should be good skiing tomorrow and Saturday. We will schedule another grooming if we get snow. We had a lot of branches blow down with the winds over the last two days, Thank you to those that took the time to remove the larger stuff. There is still a lot of twigs on the trail, any additional help in flicking those off the trail will be appreciated. Thanks and enjoy!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
We packed and groomed the 4" of new snow we received Friday. The trails are likely to be soft over the weekend and we will probably groom again midweek. We really needed the new snow. Race skis could be used except for 2 rocks on the short steep East loop trail and one rock that is marked on the Finnish trail. Everything else is in excellent condition.

Beautiful scenery day out there. Fresh grooming yesterday made dirty spots in the trails more visible. I used race skis, but had to be careful. Iā€™d recommend B skis at best. All the trails were groomed and in good shape other than the dirty patches, which are avoidable.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
I ran the drag over the skate lane this morning. We had a bit of new snow/frost that came off the trees but I had to put the teeth down on the groomer to take out the ruts so ended up bringing up a bit of brown every so often. I did not set a new track as it appeared still good from last week's grooming. The trails are still in good condition considering the limited snow cover we have. Lets hope for a little snow in the coming week to freshen things up.

Trails were great today! Some debris on the ground but easily avoidable if you have some agility. Classic tracks looked like they've been set nicely.

Fresh snow and the trails were freshly groomed so snow was soft - but the classic track was perfect and very few if any skiers had been out before us. A great day on the trails!

Skate and track groomed after 4ā€œ snowfall. Trails in good condition. Hoar frost incredible on trees and shrubs, makes one want to sing, I may have heard a few tunes.

Groomed and set track over all trails. The base is still quite thin but the track set very nice in most areas. The wolf tracks on Rajala and sunset rip were crazy thick. I would say our wolf pack is back after a one year hiatus. Grooming plans: We will groom again probably Thursday after we get a new round of snow. Enjoy.
