Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Flat groomed and set track on Lake Loop to Tower End and return. I didn't do anything with the Prelude Loops; first skier out will ski in the track. Weather looks good so get out and ski.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed half of the trail system today, Prelude, Lake Loop, to Lower Junction to "H" junction and back to Red Pine and to parking lot. Set a new track on some parts but not everywhere because the track still looked good in some places. Groomed the skate lanes but only a single pass up the Lake Loop to the Split. Trail beyond "H" was not groomed, but it still looked pretty good, hope to continue up to Tower later.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Groomed and set track on Inner and Outer Prelude Loops and up to cut across at "D" intersection and down Red Pine Hill back to "B". It was starting to snow when I left the trails. I will try to do some more grooming tomorrow. There are quite a few twigs and branches on the trail, and it will probably be windy thru the night so please help by throwing twigs off the trail. Thanks.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed all trails and set a new track from H junction up to Tower end and back to Red Pine Junction and set new track on Outer Prelude Loop, should be good, Tower Loop beyond Z junction might still be a little soft in some places. Lots of deer tracks on trail.

Evening
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Plenty of beautiful, clean, white snow. The prelude loops are packing down fairly well. The Red Pine and Tower loops have great coverage, but still soft in spots. The snow will settle down and make for wonderful conditions for skating (although most trails are not very wide). The classic tracks are in excellent shape!

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I was able to groom the trail from junction "H" to the Tower end; the rest of the trail ( Prelude Loops, Lake Loop, to "H" was groomed and tracked last Saturday) . I flat groomed from "H " to the Tower today. It will probably be a little rough until I have a chance to groom it again, this part of the trail hasn't been groomed much this year.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
First MYSL session on snow with emphasis on Fantastic Falling. Prelude loops were groomed and snow was forgiving. Champion Faller reported 31 falls in 1 hour. Extra blue worked great to get up slight hills without poles. Groomer reported he had groomed Lake Loop and beyond to H so plenty more skiing and falling.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Skate skiing 18 degrees was heavenly on groomed Prelude and up to Red Pine Junction via Lake Loop. Snowmobiles operated by neighbors Tim Skelly and Jack Carter packed with Tom Sobolik to Tower End and back. Tom groomed and set track to H and back. Beautiful woods, fun hills with wide skate lane for snowplow turns as needed. Ready for first MYSL session on Saturday afternoon.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Classic skiing Prelude loops was enough for below zero no glide conditions! Clean white snow, track set firm and fine. Grooming plans: Groomer will tackle more when it warms up Monday afternoon. Hoping for some help packing the over 12" of new snow from last week.
