Temps in the mid 30s climbing to the 40s made the trails icy and fast in the beginning then slushy and slow as the sun rose higher. Skied all the trails. Definitely avoid Eagle Ridge as there are big open spots you can't slow down for. Also some open spots on Cross Trail (western end) but those are avoidable. Black Spruce Trails was especially squishy. A moment of silence for the rabbit that met its end on Birch Ridge. Skin skis worked great in these conditions.

Awesome day at Biskey. Appeared that trails have not been groomed recently but they are holding up well. Full coverage (except for one small low spot on the bottom of the Eagle Ridge Trail), with firm tracks. Make sure to check the map on which way the trails go, as only a small portion of them are two way. I saw some herringbone tracks on the a couple of the downhills on the one way trails - a scenario that could end badly if two people met mid hill.

Great condition on Saturday with mostly debris free ski tracks. Minimal track loss due to blowing snow. Went off trail to the top of a vista overlooking the Beaver River. One person in my party, said that Biskey Ponds rivals Korkki Nordic.

Enjoyed the couple inches of fresh snow from a few days ago. Didn’t seem to have been groomed today/yesterday, but great coverage throughout. Classic tracks in good shape with no debris. Even saw the sun, recommend these trails if you’re a fan of single track classic!

Looked like the trails were groomed earlier in the day. Went out on Wolf Run and came back on Black Spruce trail. Trails were in good shape. Beautiful afternoon to be out!

Lovely snowy day on the fun narrow trails of Biskey Ponds. There was an inch of fresh snow when we started and we were one of the first groups out. Skied Wolf Run to Birch to Eagle Ridge and then back on Black Spruce. Not freshly groomed but the pre-snow tracks still held.

Good/very good conditions today. Track was set Saturday albeit shallow. Thin spots after descending Eagle Ridge amidst the conifers but nothing that would harm skis. Great vista atop Eagle Ridge with the sun finally out.
