Trail Reports

2020-2021 season
Reports 4 to 6 of 6    Month: Feb | Jan | Dec

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The trail was in really good condition. The classic tracks were well formed, the base was firm, and the skate deck looked nice and level. I only put B skis on the report due to all the road crossings. If you take your skis off during those and are careful, you could use your good skis without issue.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All the trails have now been groomed and they were were firm and in good condition. The tracks setup very well for the first grooming of the year. The skate deck looked a little uneven in spots, so hopefully we get some more snow to help level that out. You could probably use your good skis, but would want to watch out for the few thin spots. Overall it is a nice start to the ski season.

Secondhand
[ Trails Open: Most ]
All trails were rolled. As the snow that fell was pretty dry, it will take some for the trails to firm up. Plan is to groom the Muellner trail system Thursday and the golf course on Friday (the equipment is being used today for slay rides). If possible, please stay off the golf course trail until it is groomed as that is the only trail specifically groomed with a skating lane. Thanks for the hard work from our Volunteer Groomers!
