Notes

Classical ski track groomed double wide for much of the trail with some flat stretches and hills of varying difficulty in primarily hardwood forests, with views of Hagerman, Ottawa, and Bennan Lakes. The trail is maintained and groomed by Covenant Point Bible Camp.

The trails were groomed last week after 11 inches of snow and have been skied a lot since. I skied Logger's Loop this evening and trails are still in great shape and snow is fast right now. Enjoy!

The Ge-Che trail was all groomed this afternoon. I skied "Loggers' Loop" and the straight shot to Brule Lake road and back from Covenant Point tonight. Tracks were set well and conditions are great. Enjoy!

Another day, another great place to ski. First visit to these classic-only trails. Couple inches of fresh over most recent groom. Some trails had been skied in by others; others we skied in. Really enjoyed the Ge-Che loop with more mature forest, lake views, swoopy downhills, and a neat esker. Trails to the loggers loop had less mature forest, but nice groves of smaller hemlocks. Couple of good climbs and descents on loggers loop.

After 5 inches of new snow midweek all trails are freshly groomed, and in great condition, with classic tracks set. On some of the larger hills we groomed the trail flat and did not lay tracks. Enjoy!

I skied from Stambaugh Bay parking lot to Loggers Loop and around that and back. Snowshoers got all over track in some parts so track was gone. Good glide in track that was there.
