Excellent conditions, trails well groomed. Did the 10K loop. A few icy spots but very manageable. Exercise caution on some of the faster downhills. Groomed for classic and skate. Was snowing as we left.

Ski trails were groomed Monday morning, providing a fresh skate deck and newly set classic tracks. Coverage is excellent and the base is firm, setting up for great skiing across the system.

After about 1" of snow and some mixed precipitation the groomers did a fantastic job of grooming up all the trails. This was some of our best skiing of the year. We were on the trails early enough to be the first to make tracks on most of the trails. Decks were firm with plenty of edge control. A few softish spots Where the groomers finished up their work for the morning. It just needed a little more time to set up.

Excellent skate deck! Some of the best skate skiing conditions of the year; firm and fast. Skied the 10K loop several times. The chalet and base area were very busy but once on the trails I saw very few skiers especially further to the east. Kudos to the groomers!

We used the power tiller this morning to freshen up the skate deck and reset classic tracks. Coverage is excellent, and the base is very firm.

I arrived around 11:00 am with temperatures around freezing. The skate deck was a bit icy and slow then but it softened up pretty quickly and speed picked up as the temperatures warmed. Control was surprisingly good. The groomers did a great job considering the snow conditions they had to work with. It was an enjoyable 17K ski at WinMan.

Conditions continued to be good despite tough weather the past couple of days. Skate deck was firm and fast. Minimal debris (few pine needles and twigs here and there).

Groomers freshened up the skate deck and classic tracks Friday morning, and coverage is excellent across the system. Temperatures are hovering right around freezing today, so a few icy spots may linger, especially in shaded or high-traffic areas. Otherwise, trails should be skiing nicely.

Glorious classic skied all of WinMan trails on this less than desirable winter day that began with early morning drizzle. Thank goodness WinMan can chop up the glaze with a tiller, skate lane leveler, and add outdoor Christmas music near the chalet for the outdoor bonfire. Swix VP65 out kicked Oslo Purple and Guru. Look forward to WinMan tomorrow with skiers, snowshoers, and fat bikers.
