First time skiing these classic-only trails. Skied the trails on the Munising side of the park, then drove over and skied the trails on the Grand Marais side. Trails near Munising we're freshly groomed, but had received a dusting to an inch of snow today. Those on the Grand Marais side were recently groomed but had about 4" of fresh over the tracks. All trails except the most difficult on the Munising side had been groomed. Great conditions in a magical snow-globe setting - Beautiful forests, views of Lake Superior, dunes, and ice climbers on frozen waterfalls!
