Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
I skied “Middle Earth” (golf course south of Trailhead, Tornado Alley etc) and generally very good. Light under Hwy 55 and a couple spots where some dirt starting to break through but overall a really nice ski.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Did a few loops in the middle part of Wirth: from Wirth Lake Beach through Tornado Alley to the golf course south of the Trailhead and found conditions were excellent. Complete coverage (although a little spare going under Hwy 55). Good crowd but even during the later afternoon after many had skied there was still great coverage. Thanks groomers for moving fast.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Skied late morning, temps in the upper 20s, covering all the trails south of Hwy 55. For the most part good coverage, getting just a little thin on some of the steeper uphills and sections over by JD Gardens as the snow is pushed around. Trails felt firmer than what I skied on Saturday, but not surprisingly getting a little mushy with the traffic. Saw loads of skiers out enjoy the trails! Used rock skis, probably B skis would be OK.

Thank you groomers! Skied Butler, Bog, T Alley and south golf course. Skate deck in nice shape, but getting soft fast. Pushed through on trail over asphalt path along Wirth Lake. Perfect day.

Butler and the bog are freshly groomed and in primo midwinter condition. No classic tracks, but right now classic is great in the skate land with extra blue. Good skis would be OK except there are a few places where it might be possible to push through to pavement or a rock. Thanks a ton Loppet-totally amazing!

Butler and Bog freshly groomed last night and it set up pretty nicely. Very enjoyable to ski original direction of both. No classic tracks. Some leaves mixed in in places.

Evening
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Butler and Bog are back! The trail in Butler has been fixed to its original direction (clockwise) and includes the largest climb that hadn't been groomed the last few years. Thanks Loppet! The trail was fairly soft and there were some dirt and leaves, but excellent B skiing. There are some shallow classic tracks, but is probably best for skate.

Afternoon

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Started at Wirth Beach and did Eloise Butler area. Although trails rolled, lots of loose fluffy snow made it challenging - but beautiful - skiing. There were snowshoers who were doing better with it than I was. Great to be in the woods with snow and sun. No bare spots.

Fresh rolling for skate skiing all the way from the Trailhead to Brownie Lake! Eloise Butler is back to the old clockwise direction from many years ago, and the quaking bog is also back to its old direction from several years ago - follow the signs and ski tracks! So wonderful to be out in the natural snow trails again! B or rock skis recommended due to a few pebbles/curbs.
