Freshly groomed trails and glorious April morning sunshine. Many thanks to volunteers for making the long season here in downtown Ironwood. Grooming started back in early November and hasn't stopped since.

Fun skiing and fresh grooming. Full depth classic tracks. Two short drifted areas are soft for a few meters each. The rest of the trails were firm and fast in the sun, a bit slower in the shade. A few footprints on the first loop, but nothing to complain about.

Great skiing continues at the Miners Trail with grooming of the new snow. Classic tracks deep and firm. Skate lanes have a few paw prints from the dog folks.

Classic skied these beautifully groomed snowy trails with gradual uphills and climbs as part of the Anderson Bluffs relay. Beautiful scenery, super interesting signs about Ironwood's mining past. Will definitely ski this one again - its proximity to the ABR ski trails is a bonus.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Miners Trail was tilled and yesterday and a track was set. Most of the track is full depth with some shallow areas and a very few bare spots. Skate deck is very firm and skiable. Conditions are good to very good. I checked it today and it is still nice.

Miners Park trails are in pretty good shape considering how little snow is on the ground. I skied the Aurora and Pabst loops this morning with headlamp. The skate deck seemed very firm. Tracks are wind blown or have debris in only a few spots and overall are in good shape.

More snow yesterday in Ironwood. The Miners Trail was groomed again this morning and was in perfect condition. A beautiful 5K rolling hills loop right in town!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
We have been getting a nice 3-4 inches at a time for multiple days. We now have a solid base that is covering everything except the occasional stubborn plant/sapling. We groomed this morning and have a decent classic track set. The trails are open daily. Donations are accepted at the trail head or at our website. Enjoy!
