Last groomed a week ago Friday. Tracks should be set but icy. Cold nights will mean great morning fat biking for a while. We will only be grooming and updating conditions when they are significantly improved for the remainder of the season. Thanks for a good one!

4 inches of fresh, dry snow arrived yesterday. Grooming today. A great weekend of skiing and fat biking on tap with the great live music of Lehto & Wright on Saturday night. We've got openings and CLOSEOUT pricing at the NFL for our final weekend (March 6-8th). Contact us to reserve now and come on up and enjoy the most snow in 20 years!

Groomed Tuesday Feb 18th. Tracks are in great shape but icy where the sun hit. Back trails are nice based on skier reports yesterday. Plenty of base, but plan to bring your waxless or old snow wax. Fat Bike trails are awesome though as long as daytime temps are in the mid 20s or less. We've got openings and closeout pricing at the NFL for our final weekend so come on up and enjoy the most snow in 20 years!

Enjoyed lots of great skiing on these trails while staying for the weekend at National Forest Lodge. Everything was well-groomed. The thaw created some areas of ice and some areas of wet snow, but overall the conditions held up very well, particularly in the morning. Liquid glide wax was sufficient to prevent clumping.

Fabulous ski! Saw just 4 skiers in 2 1/2 hours. Grooming great in all areas except around Flathorn Lake, where sun, wind and 5+ day old grooming had taken its toll. Big warmup today was just starting as we were leaving. Was in mid 40s as we departed. So may be icy until more snow. Base is great, and appears to be 30 inches plus.

Groomed last Tuesday. Warm weekend will mean icy trail conditions and no grooming until we get more snow. Trails have plenty of base, but plan to bring your waxless or old snow wax. Fat Bike trails should be awesome though when daytime temps are in the mid 20s or less. We've got openings at the National Forest Lodge this weekend and March 6th at Closeout pricing so come on up and do some spring skiing and fat biking!

Fantastic morning on the trails at the Superior National Forest Lodge! Tons of snow on the ground and snow falling from the sky. Three days of the most serene and zen skiing one could find. Food! Friends! Hot tub! Sauna and polar plunge! Live music!
