Absolutely fantastic conditions, and the tracks were excellent. I was out probably a half hour after the groomers, and the snow was in perfect condition. Did the Pioneer Loop, but looked like everything on the lake side was groomed. I did not do Deer Yard but the link looked to be groomed as well.

From the Caribou Trail trail head, went east to and around the Massie and Hall loops, then back to the Caribou Trail and out to the ski hill road and back. Grooming was very recent after Wednesday night's new snow. Tracks and deck were firm with only an occasional outside pole plunge. Coverage is vastly improved with only a few places with stubble poking thru. Great grooming, great trail, good day.

Parked at Hanson Hjemstad road and skied the Whitesides loop, Deeside loops, and the green trail from marker Q north to the next trailhead and back. Classic trails were in great shape with just a few spots where grasses were exposed on the tracks. Great trails. We will be back to explore more!

Skied up Pioneer, over to deeryard, up to fire tower, down around Short loop, then around the deeryard loop and back down pioneer and ridge run. Great grooming after 8 inches of new snow. Tracks were a bit soft but held your skis. No pole plant plunging, but double poling was hard. Some moose track damage on deeryard and the connector has a short section that was trashed by a lost snowmobile. Great day.

Classic skied from Cascade Lodge up segments of Pioneer Loop to Lookout Mountain. Tracks were in good condition, had a few bare spots near stones/roots, but definitely fun. Thanks to Norpine Trail Association for the grooming!
