Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Trails are usable but not great. You can classic but not skate very well due to major snow drifiting, mainly on the 5k loop. A few trees are down from the wind and there is a bit of tree debris as well.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All trails are usable. Advanced spur trails and 9k loop are rough, 3k and 5k loops aren't bad but have minor debris. Metal culvert exposed in track on back of 5k. Tracks have minor debris in spots, skate track grooming is mostly flat Look out for icy spots when it gets colder.

Pretty firm this morning with tracks that are showing their wear, but the base is good throughout. Some debris on the trail.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomed and set track on all but one of the advanced spurs. Reasonably good conditions given the amount of snow and the toll the rain took the other day. Back to B skis though. Would not recommend either advanced spurs right now.

Trail is in good shape both rolled and tracked. Some grass poking through but no bare ground and tracks were not blown in.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Finally was able to get out and groom today. Thanks for everyone's patience! Between a wicked cold and snowmobile issues (most of which are mostly resolved) I was able to groom all but one of the advanced loops which still need some clearing. Trail is in pretty good shape now, very few bare patches or rocks sticking up - bring your good skis!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
First time skiing here. Trail was packed with very good snow coverage. No classic tracks set. Beautiful trail. Can't wait to come back.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Wonderful early December ski. Trail is in pretty good shape, skate deck was more consistent than the classic tracks. Some portions of the classic track had lots of debris. Snow was squeaky, and the chickadees were calling from the tops of the trees.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Groomed again today, trail is in better shape but we really need more snow before it's in great skiing condition. Set a new classic track but again I would call it marginal. Stay away from the advanced spurs until we get more snow.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Groomed the ski trail again today and laid down a classic track that was mostly a bust. We also had trouble with one of the snowmobiles so the second half of the 5k is a bit rough in spots from the tracks. Would not recommend either of the advanced spurs until we get more snow. Overall the trail is skiable with sections that have a lot of leaves and grass poking up. Grooming plans: Hope to get out tomorrow and clean things up and lay down a better classic track.
