Four high school meets set to take place this week on Tuesday from 3pm - 5:30pm, two on Thursday (1/25) from 9am-11am and 3pm - 5:30pm, and Friday from 1-4pm. Trails are still open to the public, but please be aware of the potential high volume of skiers at this time. Please be aware that Battle Creek Rec Center will be closed on Friday, Jan 26th.

Excellent groom this morning. Thanks! Classic tracks were firm. 180 turn where bronze normally heads out to natural snow trails was churned up really bad, but that was the only place. Rest of the course was a beautiful firm deck.

Another day of superb conditions at Battle Creek on Saturday. Grooming and trails now fully open and excellent! I seem to have left my Rossignol skates skis behind at Battle Creek after my kids ski club. I believe I left them on the rack nearest to the recreation center along with a pair of Yoko poles. Please message me if you have any information or if you picked them up on accident.

Great classic tracks. Not a lot of people out. The crew was making snow and grooming more trails. Most of the man made/lighted trails are open and well groomed.

Thanks to some long hours of pushing we were able to get the South Loop open today. We are working on the North Loop. We will need to make a little snow to get the A2 climb open but we are almost there. Thanks to all for your patience and the BC snowmaking and grooming crew for gutting out a tough season so far.

Got on snow at 6 am with about eight others. Nice and cold with no wind and beautifully groomed. Snow was fast and firm. The groomer was working on opening up the north and south tree loops. Many thanks!

7 AM, hardly any wind. Classic and skate lanes are in excellent condition. Trail crew was working on opening an other loop soon.

Great conditions at Battle Creek this morning! About 10 skiers, mostly classic, and two sundogs were out to appreciate. Deep, firm tracks and the skate deck looked good. The whole snowmaking area except for the loop on the ridge is open and groomed. Be careful though: The Slipback is now a downhill again. I was not the only skier to mistakenly go up it on my first lap. We probably need a sign.
