Mostly stuck to the outer loop this afternoon. As someone else mentioned, the trails have been groomed and are fully covered, but no official tracks have been set. The existing tracks are poorly defined for the most part, with footprints here and there, and pole tips will hit the pavement in places. But don't let that stop you--conditions are perfect for taking your time and enjoying the frosty oaks, plus the downhills are just as fun as always. Also nice to see the buckthorn (and other woody invasives) removal progressing; it's really opened up the views in places and exposed some of the park's cool landforms.

Trails are compacted. No classical tracks set yet. Good conditions. Skied the regular loop, cold out there today.

As of 9:00 the trails hadn't been set. Enough skiers had used the outer loop that sking wasn't bad. Beautiful snow.

I skied the outer loop a couple times. It was mostly slow but the tracks are getting set by the users (as usual here). There were some footprints in the tracks, hopefully it will stop after grooming the trail. The downhill sections were pretty decent.

There was no grooming as of 1:00 pm. I broke trail for most of the outer loop and helped pack down some of the other sections that others had been skied in. It looks like most of the trails have been user tracked now.
