Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
The snow was a bit softer than it was Friday but was a fun ski. The tracks were firm and deep, it looked like the skate deck was getting a little soft with maybe an inch of loose snow on top by 9:30 am.

What a great little loop they have setup in such little time. Trail was soft this morning. Nice to get a little hill work in. The skate deck looked good. The classic tracks were deep. No worries about your good skis.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic Secondhand
[ B skis ]
Open from the donut to the training area. Good tracks, good skiing, and they were working on the Valley trail. Also a sign at the Northern Lights turnoff saying snowmaking in progress. The freeze/thaw cycles have left a few small ice pebbles on the tracks, but no real issues.

The trail is open from the donut to the practice area, is excellent and the tracks are great. They are making snow from the practice area to the neck before the whale tail.

Drove by today and there is a lot of snow being blown and in piles. I suspect they'll be open for skiing soon with the continuing cold weather.

Photo of the practice area snow that was made a couple of weeks ago. Almost gone. There is a little more in a couple of piles on the upper donut which is in the shade.
