Skied Valley Trail at 9:30 a.m. Excellent grooming. Tracks and skate lane firm and not icy. The switch back was closed but they were working on it and had it rolled before I was done skiing. Also saw a snow gun going as I was leaving. Snow was dirty at the top of the donut and near the road but otherwise much better conditions than I expected after the warm weather.

[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Skied around 11 am which was probably about an hour too late. It was getting wet in the sunny spots and slow. The Universal klister I've had on for most of the last times skiing was working OK except on the icy and very wet spots. You Birkie skiers better get out and get one last over distance session in...just kidding. Good Luck.

Man made loop fully open, very nice hard fast snow at around 9:00 am, getting softer around 10 am. Noice or debris on the skate deck, classic seemed perfect.

The Valley trail was very good with all man made snow trail open. Skate deck was great and tracks looked great. Only a few leaves. Thanks grooming crew!

Surprisingly I was able to ski all the natural snow trails this morning starting at 10 AM. Finding a way onto the natural snow from the snowmaking loop was the most difficult part is the part before the bridge was a bit sketchy. Once I got going there was some pretty good snow and it was still frozen so I didn't hit any bare ground. Overall I don't think my skis sustain any damage. The Eagle Lake Loop was the best and I did that three times. The only bad part was where it goes over the paved trail. The Monarch loop was not good for classic but it was hard packed so I did some skating on it.

Probably the best conditions of the year for the man-made snow loop thanks to all the efforts of the staff and groomers over the past week. The tracks looked great, and the skate deck was fast and firm, with the corduroy holding up even with quite a bit of traffic. A great morning to be able to ski.

Night
Firsthand: Freestyle Observation
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Man made loop is fully open again. Was in really nice shape with fast and firm conditions. Didn't think any spots were icy. They've done a great job repairing the trail. The natural trails looked rolled and had been skied on, but I didn't try them as was on good skis.

Beautiful sunset ski at Elm Creek. Firm and packed skate deck after the new snow. Lots of snow guns out to expand the loops and natural trails were with lots of powder, excited to ski those when groomed. Used good skis, decent glide.

I skied the outer trails mid-morning today. Eagle, Monarch, Creek, Lake, Northern Lights and then back to Bottineau House on Valley trail. Only man-made skied in tracks on Eagle, Monarch, Creek, Lake. Northern Lights had just been rolled. Snow guns were making snow around the Chalet. The 1.5k of the Valley trail was good.
