I skied classic at Elm Creek this morning, when I started the tracks were in very good shape and I was getting good kick most of the time. They had made snow for the donut last night and it was open this morning, I found the kick and glide a bit inconsistent, but that was probably the new made snow. Just before I left they started a race and in one of my laps some areas of the tracks were almost completely gone from the racers skating over them. A big thanks to the groomers for such good conditions despite the unseasonal weather.

The groomers did an excellent job of reviving the trail. With fresh man-made snow and grooming the North Donut is open again as well.

EC was closed (fenced off at the parking lot) before sunrise. Quite a few snow guns on the ski trails and the groomers had been pushing snow around as well.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much of a difference a half inch of new snow made in the tracks. I even got enough kick to make it up the hill. The skate deck looked like a lot of sugar everywhere. The donut is closed so you have to turn around at the chalet. They didn't have any snow guns on the xc ski areas.

Donut is still closed. Only a handful of snow guns running on the downhill area. Still a nice track. I don't think I saw anyone successfully climb the hill in the tracks. Was pretty slick.

Good loop, 0.9 miles open, classic tracks were also solid. Lots of people/teams but did not feel crowded. Go ski!

Pretty good condition this morning, considering the weather lately. Skate deck was good and tracks looked fine as well.

Skied the 1.5K loop at Elm Creek this morning. Amazingly good considering the warm weather and snow. Early was better...the hill snow was getting softer as more skiers got on the course.

Both donuts are closed so the trail is open from the chalet to the South Donut then returning to the chalet via Elm's Everest. It was like skiing on a giant snow cone. Very soft ice; just a few of us had already rutted the skate deck. We were sinking in up to 6" on the uphills.

Heard that Elm was at least skiable so had to give it a whirl. I was on rock skis, but could have used good skis if careful. Skiing was okay! Felt like skiing on a snow cone. Wasn't quite slush, snow, or ice, but somewhere in between. Doughnut was closed and bottom of the wall has sections blocked off due to melt/run off. No classic tracks at all. Appreciate the trail crew keeping it open.
