They were able to make some more snow last night as evidenced by the snow in the trees. I'm speculating, but it looks like there may be enough to groom and open the short loop soon.

They have groomed snow most of the way around the short loop. I talked to the Park Manager and they have to make a little more snow yet. Looks cold enough on Friday night and Sunday night.

I listened to the recorded message that stated there will be a deer hunt in Elm Creek park this weekend. I don't know if that impacts the ski trail areas. [ The entire park is indeed closed for a shotgun deer hunt Nov 14-15th. And the ski trails are not open yet. --Ed. ]

The guns are going again. Lost some of the previous snow with the 70s last week. No snow being made for the lower donut area yet.

Observation
[ Trails: Closed ]
Drove by this morning and there are several snow piles. Too warm to make more snow. There might be enough to move around and groom the usual opening loop. No grooming happening right now though. There is a bare spot near the bridge by the trailhead.
