City of Lakes Tri-Loppet Coverage
June 23, 2012Overcast skies and light winds combined for nearly perfect conditions Saturday morning for the annual Tri-Loppet race in Minneapolis. After paddling around Lake Calhoun, Lake of the Isles and Cedar Lake, paddlers came off the chain at the north end of Brownie Lake and took to the trails running, before finally switching over to mountain bikes for some tough, and sometimes muddy trail segments, to complete the three sport competition.
