Big Nordic Weekend in Hayward Nov 13-15
New Moon Ski Shop in beautiful Hayward WI celebrates 39 years of serving Nordic skiers next weekend with our Annual Customer Appreciation Sale. Enjoy store-wide discounts, expert ski fitting, and our outstanding customer service. Let us help you find that perfect ski jacket or that special pair of skis for your big race this winter. We'll have a pot of hot cider on for you, too. Come on in and get psyched about the upcoming season!
The sale is held Friday, November 13, through Sunday, November 15.
Hours are: Friday 9am-5:30pm; Saturday 9am – 5pm; Sunday 10am-4pm.

Saturday, November 14 is the always popular HASTA (Hayward Area Ski Trail Association) Ski Swap. This annual right of fall offers silent sports enthusiasts the opportunity to buy and sell used equipment. Traditionally, the swap features mostly Nordic ski equipment, but good deals are to be found in hiking, cycling, and other silent sports categories. The ski swap is an important fundraiser for HASTA, funding grooming and maintenance of the Hatchery Park and Hospital Ski Trails in Hayward. The swap will take place at the Hayward Wesleyan Church, 10655 Hwy 77, just about a mile from New Moon. VERY IMPORTANT: Equipment drop-off is 7:30am 8:59am only, shopping 9am-11am, and unsold equipment pick-up is 11am-11:30am. Please call HASTA at 715-634-8079 to volunteer or for more information.
If those are enough reasons to come to Hayward this weekend, we are holding our Annual Fall-Winter Ladies' Night, Saturday, November 14th, 5:00pm – 7:30pm. Leave the men at home and head to New Moon for an evening of fabulous door prizes, special discounts, expert ski and boot fitting, apparel, beverages, appetizers, and friendship. We'll have waxing experts on-hand to answer any questions or topics you'd like to learn more about. And if you really want to max out your day on Saturday, November 14th, head up to Cable during the afternoon for a day and evening full of all things fat bike at the Fat Bike at the Barn fundraiser. There will be a group fat bike ride, trail grooming clinics, groomers for sale, our New Moon fat bike fleet, Angry Minnow beer, food from Rivers Eatery, and some great music to boot! Proceeds from the event will benefit our local fat biking grooming efforts.
