Elm Creek Relays/TT Results
Race condition: Icy, fast condition, snow covered the entire 5K race course including Valley, Thicket, and Northern Light trails, 28F, no wind.
Race format of the night: Individual time trial, mass start.
Race results: Tonight’s individual time trial posted one of the most competitive fields of this season, in both men and women fields. 27 skiers battled tonight’s race from start to end. It was about trying to get ahead of Laurin Sean-Pascal and Caitlin Compton both from Subaru Factory Team. Laurin lead the pack and held his split second win over Paul Olson at 11:41. Paul Olson, Ben Kremer, Andy Schakel, and Brandan Ostroot were neck to neck with Laurin to the end and each posted their respective time at 11:42, 11:44, 11:46, and 11:47. In the women’s field, Caitlin took a near 3-second lead over Anna McLoon and posted the fastest women time in the season. Caitlin finished at 12:19. Anna McLoon and Maria Steward took the second and third places.
