February 1, 2006Race condition: Fresh powder snow, slow condition, snow covered the entire 5K race course including Valley, Thicket, and Northern Light trails, 27F, little wind.
Race format of the night: Individual time trial, mass start
Race results: While fresh snow condition made a slow night for everyone, 16 skiers raced tonight’s time trial with Matt Liebsch taking the lead from the start and posted his finish time at 12:30. Nels Dyste and Andy Schakel finished second and third at 12:55 and 13:12. Anna McLoon continued her dominance in the women’s field and posted her finish time at 13:55. Melinda Silbernick and Kara Bancroft finished in the 2nd and 3rd places at 16:05 and 16:09.

Matt Liebsch 12:30The race series continues on every Wed. night at 7:45pm. Registration opens at about 7:15pm and closes about 10 minutes before the race.
