Battle Creek Winter Recreation Legislative Update

I am taking this opportunity to emphasize that the time is now to be generating support for the Battle Creek Winter Recreation area project especially with east metro members of the MN House of Representatives. The thought is that we are feeling confident of the support from the Governor and the Senate. Nick Riley, our county lobbyist, encourages us to reach out, especially to constituents in the east metro area, to communicate their desires to have this project included in the House bonding package as well. I have listed the names of Republican House members whose districts are in the east metro area. These representatives need to hear from constituents including cross country ski coaches, business owners, youth, recreation enthusiasts about their support of this project. Please forward this message along to your networks and encourage them to contact these legislators and communicate their support of the Battle Creek Winter Recreation area project. We need to encourage people to act now as decisions are being made very soon. Thank you!
