2022-2023 season

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The entire trail system was groomed after about 10 inches of new snow fell. A snowshoe lane was groomed along one edge, a smooth skate deck groomed in the middle and a set of classic tracks was set along another edge. There are some groomed trail sections without classic tracks in the northern, narrower, wooded areas. Anticipated colder temps should set up the trail firmly. A north wind was blowing when I was grooming, so some of the open southern trail sections had drifting soon after grooming, but the northern wooded trail sections were nicely protected.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The entire trail system was rolled after about an 8 inch snowfall, but not tracked or combed. I classic skied the trail with wider backcountry skis and it skied real well. About an inch of new snow has fallen since the trail was rolled, and with the windy conditions, expect some drifting in the open areas. Great base and clean snow.

Morning
Observation
Thought I'd try the trails but there are no tracks set (started at the golf course parking lot). Looks good if you are skate skiing. [ Note: Groomer reports short section west of clubhouse was not groomed, and area right next to clubhouse is not typically groomed due to sledding hill usage -- Ed. ]

Great conditions. Appeared to have only a few skiers after grooming. Some icy spots and some soft spots but overall excellent.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails were packed and rolled on Wednesday, then combed and tracked on Thursday. I tried out our G-2 Tidd Tech for the first time and was very pleased with the job it did. The tracks were deep and firm and the skate deck was firm and pretty smooth.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Its a very pretty day, but a soft sticky layer of snow covers the last grooming. Gliding is impossible, so bring your snowshoes instead.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Entire trail system's skate deck smoothed out and tracks reset. Some debris on the trails...pine needles and some oak leaves, but not bad. The open sunny sections may have some icy patches with the warming and freezing weekend conditions.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trail system was rolled on Saturday and then combed and tracked on Sunday. The tracks are deep and firm, the snow is clean and fresh, and the skate deck is smooth. The trails are in great shape!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trail conditions were excellent. About an inch of new snow had fallen, but the classical track was holding up well. The skate deck surface was in great shape. The area near the school had some impacts on the trail, but minimal. Grooming plans: Next grooming Sunday or Monday.
