[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Good spring conditions, beautiful deep snow everywhere all at once. Packed powder from last week's foot of new snow, combined with temps on the high 30s today made for a slow skate! Trails look beautiful, but when things freeze up, skaters will have the opposite problem from slow and squeaky. Lilly's, Lake, and Eagle are groomed, with classic tracks on Lilly's and Eagle. Troll is not groomed, feel free to diy classic, might be a good bet if things ice up.

Ungroomed powder with 4"+ new snow Thursday. We classic skied, just on Lilly's, which was skier tracked, although it looked like Eagle had also been skied. Other skiers reported lake and troll were untracked. Some brave person skated Lilly's. Must have been exhausting! But it was a pleasant, quiet evening, shared with a couple other skiers and a busy Hairy Woodpecker. Grooming plans: Groomers have held off due to approaching winter storm, and they hope to get out Sunday to get things set for the rest of the week.

Spring conditions! We had 7" new snow this week, which was groomed to 2" soft base over the existing hard pack. With a high of 41 today, the snow was sticky and grippy for skaters, who worked hard to get around, or just bailed out and double poled the classic track. Most everyone had a fall or two, hitting soft slush on a hill. Classic tracks were about 60% icy but fine in the shade. Red wax ok, could have used a layer of klister. Good time to try out the new skin waxless if you've got 'em.

Good ski conditions, especially for late February. We only had about 2" new snow last week, but avoided frz drz. Trails were all groomed Saturday and classic and skate are good, with scattered leaves and twigs under confers and oaks. There is a small bare spot on Lake, rest of the base is 3-6" with a total snow depth up to 18" in spots.

Conditions: could be worse. All trails were groomed yesterday. Lilly's was good for skate, troll and eagle not as good due to debris. On Tuesday we had 1/2" rain followed by an inch of snow, so the deck is icy with some fluffed up hard pack and new snow mixed on top, that's about 95% comfortable to ski on, except under dense conifers. Classic tracks are pretty good, shallow in spots. Groomers could only dig the blades in so far before the snowmobile would try to overheat. If in doubt just do Lilly's and you'll have fun!

Spring conditions, no new snow. Temp today hit mid-40s, so trails are soft to icing up in the shade, no major melting noted. We skied Lilly's Loop, which is just fine, nice and flat, but getting a bit icy at the end of the day. Sun-exposed areas of Eagle and other hilly trails would be tricky, we stayed away. Until we get new snow, trails, especially Lilly's, will be ok mid-day when temps get over 32 again, and icy at other times. Classic skier in our group had good no-wax skis, which worked well in avoiding oak leaves. Will update again after next snowfall.

Snow conditions remain ok, but debris on the trails is more of a problem with no new snow to speak of. Lilly's beginner loop is still good for skating and classic, with some oak leaves in the first part of the trail's classic track. Lots of oak leaves are filling in the tracks on Eagle and parts of Lake, especially, with today's breeze, so just fair conditions there. Skate lane has patchy debris as well, everything from leaves to needles and cones in spots. Troll is a little better. No-wax classic skis would alleviate the oak leaves quite a bit. Snow conditions as such are good, with a little loose snow over a firm base and no icy spots as yet. Today's high was 33, and we had a minimal dusting of sleety snow. Lots of interesting tracks on the trails from creatures great and small.

Conditions remain excellent, with a little debris on the trails from wind and squirrels. Trails were completely groomed last Friday and cold weather has limited use, so they are still in fine shape. Classic track feels a little faster than the skate lane, which has had enough recent snow to take care of some prior icy spots. We will resume Sunday open house from 1-3 this weekend, weather permitting. Total snow depth is around 18" and there is at least 8" packed base.

Conditions are excellent, with 1" new snow today on a firm base. This has eased some of the crusty hills a bit and covered some of the debris that is still shedding from the ice and snow-covered pine branches. Classic tracks look good throughout. Skate lane is still fast, fun to ski.

Conditions are good throughout, all trails were groomed Friday. The hills with sun exposure were still a bit crusty and fast and there was a little bit of debris here and there. Busy weekend out here, both locals and visitors.
