This ski trail is super fun. The snow is compact and has good depth. There is a groomed track on the side that we used today which had a coating of snow. We easily climbed up and skied down with no difficulty other than what you get from the wonderful natural terrain. I don't know what was the cause of so many fallen trees in this area, but we greatly appreciate that the trails are clear and hope all of the trails could be groomed one day. If all potential trails were groomed we would have stayed longer.

On Monday, with the help from volunteer Robb Pike, we cut open Flagpole Hill trail. After 6" of new snow on Wednesday, I performed more cutting of oak trees bent over the trail and made three passes with the 5' roller on the outer loop and Flagpole Hill. Snow needs to set up. Grooming plans: Plans are to groom and set track on Friday morning.

[ B skis ]
Here for the weekend and wanted to check this trail out. It was recently groomed and down trees cleared away. The skate deck was very firm and good. I rated B skis because there is a lot of debris on the trail. It looks like the groomers did an awesome job cleaning up down trees. I found some sunglasses and left them at the trailhead (pic). It was a fun ski and the trail had a lot of uphills and downhills. Good workout.
