Morning
Firsthand: Both
[ Good skis ]
Glad I got out before the rain hit. Skied the classic trails. Lots of pine debris in the west woods. East trails were pretty clean. The wind had come up hard so the skate trails were pretty unpleasant, but trail was firm.

New grooming this morning. Classic tracks marvelous. No debris in the trail. Snow falling from the trees after yesterdays snowfall. Bright sun. Magical. Thanks to the groomers.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Both the skate and the classical trails (separate) are in good shape. No bare spots. The open skate trails are a bit drifted over in spots, narrowing the firm skate deck considerably. The classic loop west of the visitor center has seen heavy foot traffic but the tracks are discernable and very functional. It's an aesthetic issue really. Classic tracks are hard and fast. A beautiful and snappy ski.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Skied the woods trail. Has not been groomed for many days, but skiers are maintaining a decent classical ski track. Did not note any packing for skate skiing. Tons of soft, new fluffy snow. The trees are bathed in white. Sun breaking through. A great afternoon in the snowy, peaceful, woods.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Spring Lake Park in Hastings received 7 inches of dry powder last night. The groomer attempted to pack and corduroy this morning with the snowmobile, but was unable to navigate the icy base (kept getting stuck), so paused and is waiting for the Pistenbully to be done grooming Lebanon Hills (likely early afternoon). Expecting Spring Lake to be groomed by the end of the day today.

[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Decent coverage. North Trailhead is a little thin. Fast. Groomed for skate. Not tracked. Not too icy, hills are a little rutted.
