Trails were groomed with the PB100 this morning. Mid-afternoon was some of the best ski conditions of the winter! The classic tracks varied from shallow to deep but it worked just fine and skin skis were great. Good temperature, blue sky, great glide.

No recent groom here but there is plenty of snow (about 10 - 12" packed base) on 99% of the 17k. I skied from 10:30 - 11:15 am and it was just about perfect spring skiing conditions. Skin skis had good grip and glide was great (a little icy is fun!).

The trails have not been groomed since Saturday but are still in excellent shape. The tracks were solid and very fast this morning. Skin skis were great; kick was good, glide was great (anything would have glided well since it was a little icy). A couple of people have walked on Skidder and Jammer, so the skate deck out there looks kinda rough.

I classic skied about 14 of the 17k, early afternoon; fabulous conditions, like midwinter. Great tracks most of the time; areas that were open to the north had snow-filled tracks. Kick was good and glide was good.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails are being groomed with the PB100 this morning. There is still a lot of snow base here, but probably not many trail grooms left.

All trails were groomed this morning, after a 10"+ snowfall yesterday. Beautiful groom, perfect for some relaxed, slow classic skiing! Too soft for skate skiing- maybe it will firm up by tomorrow.

Perfect late season conditions, freshly groomed. The connecting Rib Lake trails were groomed as well.

All 17km were groomed with the Pisten Bully this morning. Perfect tracks, excellent corduroy for the skate deck. My skin skis worked very well; great kick, pretty good glide. Grooming plans: Adam will probably not be grooming often now since the skier demand is less and because the maple sap collecting season is here.

All loops (17km) were groomed early this morning and are in Excellent condition. I would call it "best of the season " skiing! Kick wax worked great until it wore off after about two hours, glide was great until the air temperature got up near 32F. Don't quit skiing yet just because the big race is past!

Trails have been groomed three days in a row, tracks and skate decks are all in fabulous shape. Scenery is great, variety of terrain is sweet, with plenty of hills to make interesting.
