Notes

The trail is about 8km long and traverses a bridge and two boardwalks. It traverses wetlands, woodlands, and crosses a stream in flat to gently rolling easy terrain. There is a parking lot for skiers at the north end of the trail on Sundstein Road.

Firsthand: Classic

Lots of debris on the trails, but with my old backcountry fish scale skis, skiing worked well. The trail had been rolled a week ago, no tracks were set, yet it was still skiable after it warmed and softened. Double poling worked well. Skating would have been more difficult. I wanted to thank the groomers for packing the trail a week ago and for the whole season!

Good groom of light snow. Beautiful trail conditions, albeit windy air. Skate track lovely, firm and smooth. Set new tracks on firm base. Go get it!

Difficult groom with such wet heavy snow resulted in an uneven skate deck. The classic track is probably better but I haven't skied it. Pretty sticky conditions.

Trail conditions were great! Skate deck was perfectly groomed and the classic track was well set. Just a few animal footprints on the trail. Some soft spots in areas that were in the sun. It was a perfect spring day of skiing! Thanks to the groomers! It was a fabulous day!

Three Eagle trail was groomed and tracked this morning with very nice results. The skate deck may be a bit soft today, hopefully colder temps will firm up both the track and skate lane. Enjoy great late season conditions and wonderful scenery.

Groomed 3-4" new snow. Excellent result! Skate deck base firm and smooth... although someone or two snowshoed on it for about 1/4 mile (grrrrr)! Set new track and looks and feels great. Get out there!
