Long Lake Conservation Center is a Aitkin County Park located 6 miles south of Palisade. The classic only trails offer beautiful views from heavy timber and black spruce bogs to overlooks of Long lake.Trail Reports

First time out on these trails. Great potential for a fun system of trails close to our cabin. The beginning and end half mile or so had not been groomed for a week or more and was a mix of ice and soft snow. Middle groomed section had very shallow tracks. I'd love to try it again freshly groomed with firm, deep tracks set!
