Good tilled corduroy surface and classic lane set all around. Alps all groomed but did not ski them today. Sticks and leaves numerous in a few areas. Watch for a few places deer scratching brought dirt in tracks. Boisterous big turnout for kids ski this afternoon!

Excellent. A few inches of fresh snow. Had the opportunity to ski the R trail before the groomer got to it. Grooming was in progress and all trails had excellent snow cover. Great work on the task of clearing the trails from all the branches that had been blown on the trails from recent storms.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We attempted to groom this morning and this afternoon. The high temperatures and high humidity caused plugging in the tiller of the Pisten Bully. A few trails were groomed, and tomorrow we intend to groom and set track on the entire trail system. Conditions should be good to excellent if we can complete the grooming this week. Some debris remains on some of the trails, but staff and volunteers have been effective at removing the majority.

All has been groomed but Alps and S. I did skate alps but only crazies like me who enjoy the challenge of going around sticks should do it. The groomer was out almost the entire time I was there, so trails were soft and easy to edge. Friday evening snow still covering almost all sticks, though I did get slowed/stopped a couple of times, and that was skating. I heard some complaints that track was untended, but I have to say it looked ok going by it. 2 1/2 hours from Madison it was well worth the drive.
