Grooming
[ Good skis ]
We survived todays warmer temps with some pretty awesome spring skiing. Since it froze last night the groomed trails skied well for most of the day and were firm. The best skiing was from 9-noon. We will be open daily until the snow goes, it is unsafe to ski or March 29th.

Grooming
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Just coming in from a long shift in the PB. The trails were frozen at 6 pm so I was I able to powertill about 30 km of trail tonight. The River levels are staying low so we should have good skiing for another week or so if Sunday temps behave. The base is about a foot on the average.
We will have our annual Spring party this Sunday March 15th starting at 4 Pm. ABR will supply burgers, buns and condiments and a grill. You can bring a dish to pass and BYOB.

Grooming
[ Good skis ]
Lots of grooming and skiing today, even with warm temps. We regroomed 60 km of trails and reset all classic tracks this morning. All trails were well covered and groomed up well. It is spring skiing conditions and we did see many skiers with shorts and topless. We will be regrooming Saturday and Sunday.

Grooming
[ Good skis ]
The trails skied well again today, we had about 45 skiers out today and 68 second grade students enjoying the snow. We Pisten Bully powertilled about 25-30 km of trail this morning.
I just came in from grooming about 10 km of trail tonight including tracksetting. The trails are holding up fine to the temps and we will be back out in the early morning regrooming for Friday. I expect we will have excellent "Spring skiing" conditions thru Sunday based on the snow have and many years of grooming this trail system in March. I am not sure what next week brings for ski conditions. We have a very thick base and daily groomings to compact the snow for preservation in spring conditions. We do not stay open in the spring if we feel we have unsafe conditions or bare spots.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Lots of snow. Skate deck firm and fast. Tracks are deep and fast.
Trails are all groomed to ABR perfection. Had a great four days at the ABR. Ultimate skiing...what a way to end the season! Thank you Angela and Eric for all your hard work. Skiing was a real slice of heaven! Taste of the Trail was an added bonus: good food served out on the trail - most excellent!

Grooming
[ Good skis ]
Skiing has been super with snow every few days. We groomed 68 km this morning after the 5 inches of new snow fell yesterday. The temps look perfect for the Taste of the Trails coming up this Saturday from noon to 2 PM.

Grooming Scheduling
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: We picked up another dusting (1 inch) of snow this morning. The Pisten Bully was out again powertilling the skate lanes and resetting tracks and the small groomers retracked the classic only trails. All 70 km were regroomed by 8 AM. The skiers enjoyed the clean white trail condition along with the milder temps today. Groomers will be back out in the early morning touching up the trails from the snow that fell during the day today.
Don't miss the 10th Annual Taste of the Trails this Saturday, March 7th!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Excellent. Deep base... There's never a bad day at ABR.
Double dipping in Ironwood. After a half day of telemark skiing at Indianhead, we hit ABR to completely tire out our legs. Everything was freshly groomed, including Windy Ridge (for skate today) and it was lovely out here in the mild temps with bluebird skies.

Pristine grooming once again at ABR. The snow here will last for weeks, those venturing out for next weekend's Taste and Tour won't be disappointed.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Classic, excellent.
The classic track was in excellent condition except for a very few wind blown areas that were out in the open. Unbelievable snow depth here. The trail maps are getting lower and lower to look at. What a great problem to have!
