Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Excellent. Deep base... There's never a bad day at ABR.
Double dipping in Ironwood. After a half day of telemark skiing at Indianhead, we hit ABR to completely tire out our legs. Everything was freshly groomed, including Windy Ridge (for skate today) and it was lovely out here in the mild temps with bluebird skies.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Excellent. Tracks were firm and deep.
Pristine grooming once again at ABR. The snow here will last for weeks, those venturing out for next weekend's Taste and Tour won't be disappointed.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Classic, excellent.
The classic track was in excellent condition except for a very few wind blown areas that were out in the open. Unbelievable snow depth here. The trail maps are getting lower and lower to look at. What a great problem to have!

Grooming
[ Good skis ]
Two inches yesterday, we groomed 65 km and set fresh tracks, 3 inches last night and today we groomed another 50 km of trail this morning. The ski conditions are "winter wonderland" with snow hanging on the trees. We will be back out in the early morning regrooming. No ice or debris...just cold dry powder!

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Excellent grooming for skate and classic with 4-6 inches of fresh snow.
The skate deck was firm and in great shape. The classic tracks were firm and set well. The last snowfall was still hanging on the pine boughs and the volume of snow made for a deep quiet in the woods.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Excellent on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Saturday a little windblown, but today, the trails were in pristine condition.
A wonderful long weekend at ABR. Cold but so beautiful! And in the woods one didn't notice the wind. Thanks Eric and Angela!

Grooming
[ Good skis ]
Just coming from re-grooming tonight with the Pisten Bully. The winds and snow have stopped so we made good progress tonight on the Sunday grooming routine, I groomed up about 20 km tonight and we will have a full crew heading out grooming the other 50 km in the early morning hours. We groomed 62 km this morning during the storm and finished around 9 AM. As it continued to storm we sent out a groomer to groom for another shift until the snow stopped this afternoon. Skiing was reported to be very good in the woods, just a bit windy in the stadium area and a few open areas.

Grooming
[ Good skis ]
We received about 2 inches of snow last night and we had a crew out regrooming 65 km this morning. All trails were regroomed by 9 AM and the snow continued. We sent another team of groomers out at 1 PM to reset tracks and regroom skate lanes until 3:30 PM. It is snowing again tonight .....and yes, of course we will be back out in the early morning hours.
