Trails consist of 5 separate loops groomed by volunteers from the Wolverine Nordic Ski Club. An interesting mix for all ability levels. Heavily wooded terrain and great snow make for a wonderful ski experience.New warming shelter.

All trails groomed this morning putting a fresh face on the skate lane and tracks. The temp dropped a few degrees and sun came out so the PistenBully went out at noon to make the trail not so icy.

Classic skied the outside loop (Powderhorn and Wolverine trails) plus Cliffhanger yesterday and today on freshly groomed trails and tracks (yes, Wolverine Nordic Trails groomed again this morning). Skijored Wolverine, Cliff and Beginner Loop in the afternoon. Awesome conditions and great ski! Wolverine never disappoints!

Pisten Bully out this morning along with the other machines grooming about 10 inches of fresh dry snow. Sun was pushing thru for the afternoon with light lake effect flurries. Striding and skate lanes in excellent condition. Perfect temps at noon, 7 °F.

Pisten Bully out last night smoothing things out. Groomers out again this morning and groomed all trails. Will continue grooming daily. Excellent winter conditions for striding and skate. Showshoe trails packed. Light lake effect snow today. Welcome SISU racers and friends. See you at the Expo and Highlands aid station.

A good 12" of lake effect snow fell all day yesterday. Trails were freshly groomed this am with excellent skating and striding for New Years eve into 2018. Warm chalet.

All trails were groomed and track set this am. Deck and tracks solid. Excellent conditions. Fast downhills. Chalet toasty warm. Lake effect snowfall forecast to arrive tonight. Grooming will continue.
