Mukwonago was groomed today. The skate deck is a little uneven in a couple of places. The classic tracks are excellent, and will hopefully firm up more tonight. The skate deck is soft as well, but should firm up after tonight.

Ten more inches of snow this week! The trails were rolled today and all loops will be groomed first thing Friday! Should be a great weekend!

Muk is open and partially groomed. The Thursday snowstorm brought about 10 inches of new snow. I rolled and packed the 2 Km, 4 Km, and 7 Km loops this morning. I was able to groom the 2 Km and 4 Km loops for skate and classic skiing. The 7 Km loop I only had time to groom it for classic skiing. The 13 Km is still untouched and would be a pretty neat backcountry ski right now. The snow base is about 11 inches. The trail was already firmly up nicely before I left today. The trail was packed and groomed today, so take caution with hard pole plants as they might push through further than expected. We will work on getting the whole trail system packed and groomed next week.

The trail head parking lot has been plowed. We appreciate your patience during the government shutdown, and we will work diligently to get the trails open and groomed as soon as we can. There is about 10-12 inches of snow out there. Mukwonago ski trails are planned to be groomed the week of February 3. For now, if you are feeling adventurous and are heading out there expect a backcountry experience.

All loops at Mukwonago were mowed this past Fall. Mukwonago has received about 3-4 inches of snow. The trails have been rolled to establish a base, but more snow is needed before any grooming can happen. Think Snow!
