Trail Detail
Notes
Small park near the end of the Gateway Trail. There is beautiful scenery with trails winding through pine forest, and near small lakes and picturesque farms. The course is quiet, sheltered, and has a lot of fun roling hills. Most of the terrain is intermediate in difficulty.Trail Reports

Trails have been packed and tracked. The base is good but there is a lot of debris on the trails from the wind.

Walked my dog on all of the East aide of the Gateway Trail (careful to stay off the skate deck, as I'm an avid skier too and appreciate when people are respectful of the groomed trails). Lots of classic skiers out! Trails looked to be decent for both skate and classic! Looks like it was groomed a few days ago. So pretty packed down from weekend traffic and fast from drop in temps, but not bad! And impressed by how few footprints/dog prints there were on the deck (minus that guy that walks right down the middle in a few spots). Overall pretty good, considering these trails are often shared between walkers/snowshoers and skiers! One trail on the West side pretty banged up, as you can see from images.

Wow! Pine Point is well groomed and beautiful. We only get snow like this every few years and the park was getting good use. It is one of those days that people bring a friend to experience skiing for the first time. Lots of beginners, some kids, some people who look to ski either a few times a year or once every few years. My only scare was a boy laying in the woods at the bottom of the trail. His mom assured me he was just getting a nature fix.

I skated every inch of the park with a wide smile on perfectly groomed trails! The skate lane is firm and wide and the classic tracks appeared solid. New sections this season add a little more terrain to this fantastic network of trails. Hats off to the groomers for getting things done so quickly after all this snow!

Minimal classic trail set. Much prefer former 2-way Classic set trails. Trail directions not clear.
