All trails beautifully groomed-Gold/Silver freshly done. Skied Bronze/upper Gold/Summit/Silver/Biwabik Spur and half of Oslo. ( Didn't mean to sell GR short yesterday as I didn't notice Wynne Creek nor Oslo conditions, I always assume that lighted loop good.).

What fun to ski the trails of the old GR classic back in the late 80's. Great conditions since they had probably gotten 1-3" of snow mid week. It was freshly groomed on Oslo, Bronze, summit, and northern lights. Our old klister with wax over it did great most of the time. Great striding trails.

Approx 25km freshly groomed last night, including Northern Lights, Summit, Bronze, Oslo, Biwabik Spur and Wynne Creek. Silver, Gold and Cedar have not been restored since the HS races this week. Thanks to 2-3" fresh snow after the midweek rain, conditions are excellent. 99% debris free and no icy spots... Summit/Bronze are Pisten Bully perfect. Enjoy!

Could use some more extensive grooming. As of noon Saturday (my departure time) the only thing groomed it appeared was Summit and Bronze. Upper Gold, intersecting at the top of Bronze/Summit, had a fresh inch of ungroomed snow from late week and double classics still set from state meet(?). I hit the Silver and it was quite a stiff ungroomed deck since the meet as well as a fresh inch of ungroomed trail elsewhere. No real complaints-still better than ice!

Skied Bronze and Summit. Newly groomed. Skate deck is firm, but not icy. Classic tracks were firm and deep. Oslo has not been groomed recently. Worth the trip for a long training run.

Trails are in great shape despite the warm temps. Crew is prepping the HS state meet course, but also hitting the outer loops for the rest of us- Summit/Biwabik Spur/Bronze loop freshly groomed (skate and classic tracks) with the PB last night and was absolutely perfect for a morning ski.

Giants Ridge snow coverage and grooming are the best I've seen in the past three years. PB groomer has been used on all the trails I've tried this week and they are being re-groomed often. The great grooming.....OK, and colder snow, make the technical downhills on Gold and Silver really easy/fun to power through at full speed.

I was finally able to get up to Giants Ridge for the first time this season and was not disappointed. I skated out on Northern Lights to get to Summit then to Bronze back to the ski center. Northern Lights and Bronze both had nearly pristine corduroy and what looked like good diagonal tracks. Summit had about two inches of fresh snow from last night that had yet to be groomed, but it was nice and fluffy on top of a solid skate deck, so skating was only marginally more difficult. Of course, the descents with the fresh two inches were really fun. Only saw two other skiers over the near 12 km I covered - quiet and beautiful today in the "great white north.".
