Ski trails were regroomed today, tracks are in fair condition but overall everything is still a little icy and there is some minor debris in the wooded sections. The trail closure due to the habitat restoration work is still in effect in the northern section of the trails.

Beautiful conditions. Most of the trails freshly groomed with single track and wide skate deck in southern half and it looked like only maybe three other skiers had been out before mid-afternoon. North Loop not groomed since most recent snow but very nice and totally skiable, including the skate deck. Middle Loop 2 from marker 8 to 9 was rolled but no track set yet (other than a hiking boot track). The last part of the South Loop, from about marker 10 to the chalet had three sets of footprints in the skate lane, fortunately not very deep and no real impediment to skiers. Overall outstanding - I rated it for B skis only because there were a few small ice chunks and twigs that the more fastidious might object to, but I would use good skis personally, as life and the ski season are too short. Many thanks to the groomer. With both snow cover and temperature in the double digits for so much of the month, it's been a January to remember.

Groomer touched up the trails along the Green Loop (south) today. Minor debris on ice on this section of the trail but things are in fair condition.
There is still a trail closure due to the habitat restoration work along the northern section of the multi-use as well as the the pink and orange mid segments of the ski trails. There are signs out indicating the sections of trails that are closed.

Classic tracks are set on all but the multi-use trails, but no grooming since Friday. Some short connecting trails are closed for restoration work, with tracks of heavy equipment crossing the groomed trail. You can still ski the full north and south loops and get a nice workout on the hills.

Good coverage on all the trails. Everything was packed but no tracks have been set yet. There is light debris on the wooded areas of the trail but overall things are in fair/good condition.

Trails are soft and a icy due to the rain. There is a ski meet this afternoon between 3pm-6pm! Sections of the trail will be closed off for the race but is open to the public after the race is complete. [ Update: High school race has been cancelled -- Ed. ]

The groomer started early this morning to repack and set tracks on the the trails. The trails are still icy and there is debris in some of the more heavily wooded sections. Trails are more in the fair/poor side but definitely use caution on the trails with the icier conditions on the hills.
