Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We gave the trail a night time grooming. Had 3 inches of fresh snow to work with. So both the track and skate lane are in good shape. Should be great skiing tomorrow.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
On the snow at 10:10 and 22 degrees. Off the snow at 3:05, 24 degrees. I classic skied. Not my best day on the trail - poor grip (new snow needs more time to bond with old). At times the sun was out with no wind, then heavy snow and a good amount of wind. Had a good day.

Very firm base, well groomed. The club facebook page says they spent 8 hours grooming on Friday, and it shows. Lacking new snow, it is very fast. Skied the whole trail from the golf course to county F and back. Definitely worth the trip. There are classic tracks along the entire trail. We skated, so I can't report on what the tracks skied like, though they looked good.

I couldn't have asked for a more perfectly groomed trail to embark on my first skate ski! Under intense observation from hall of fame Birkie finishers who commented on the quality of the conditions: "solid pole plant, full coverage, fast and fun." Lots of happy faces on the trails and in the parking lot, thanks to the groomers! Skied in 28 degrees, cloudy, and at times snowy skies with light winds!

Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Just got off the Lakewood trails, "atta boy" to the groomers that must have worked awful hard to get those trails in shape. Conditions were icy and fast, tracks were 95% set, lots of folks out enjoying the day, skaters looked to have pretty good going. Base was good, just need more snow and it will be perfect.

Late afternoon ski into the dark. Trail firm with minimal debris. A few icey spots. Softer pole plants. All in all a very nice ski with the trail in fine condition. Get out and enjoy.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomers spent 8 hours in the PB today regrooming the trail system. As trail conditions varied from one end to the other, so does the grooming. We left some old track but also set some new. Still have 5 inches of base; good coverage.

[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
only the 7k loop on the golf course was groomed (which also goes into the woods and has several big hills) there was 100% coverage. We got there around 11:30 am and there was some corduroy (maybe from yesterday?) because it was very slightly icy on top, but then the sun came out and it softened. It was very fun and very nice! we skated, the classic tracks looked OK. It was 33 degrees when we got there, before the sun came out. After a bit, it got significantly slower in the sun and was significantly faster in the shade but it never got super slow. We saw one other person out there!

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Great trail conditions today, only the golf course loop was groomed for skate and classical, skate lane was nice and firm, just a few soft spots that were in the direct sunlight. Classical tracks looked very good as well, no bare ground showing through on either trail. Groomers did a great job of maintaining this section of trail from all of the bad weather that we have had, well worth the drive from Green Bay. Looked like even some of the GB boys made it up to train some classical in the hills. Great day overall.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Regroomed the skate lane and track on the 7K loop behind the golf course. We had one inch of snow last night and just a touch of rain.
Air temp was 33F. The remainder of the trail will not be groomed until the cold returns.
