Groomed most segments early this morning and trails are great. No-wax type skis will work well and the skate decks are awesome!

Trail conditions continue to be excellent at Valley Spur. Classic tracks are firm and the skate decks are solid and get freshened daily.

Classic tracks were left un-groomed today but in very nice shape. I skate skied on B,H,C,D and X this morning and it was excellent. The skate lanes that were freshly groomed this morning were better skiing than the sections that were not groomed. The un-groomed sections were very good just not as nice as the fresh grooming. Parking lot was quite full when I left. Lots of Ice climbers in town for Ice Fest that also love to ski at Valley Spur.

The brief warm spell has had no negative impact on our trail system. We have been grooming at least some of the trails system daily and conditions have been excellent.We have a very deep and firm base that will hold up well into next month. We are approaching the Spring skiing season which can be some of the best skiing of the year.

We received a dusting of snow overnight and it groomed in beautifully. Lots of happy skiers out today enjoying the great ski conditions and wonderful sunshine!

Very low snowfall recently has allowed us the luxury of minor touch-up grooming on our skate decks. Cold temps have kept our classics tracks firm and well set. Conditions are excellent right now and as always the Lodge is toasty warm!

Conditions are great at Valley Spur right now. We have been receiving light snowfall almost daily. We groom everyday so the trails are firm and well set. The lodge is open everyday and the wood stove is always warm!

it feels like Groundhogs Day(the movie) as we have been getting Lake Effect Snow the last three days. Dan has been keeping on top of it, so look for great conditions all the way through next week. With the cold temps and fresh LES waxable classic skiers found some icing. The Start Terva waxes will prevent this if you clean your kick zone first with a liquid wax remover. Our recently purchased 8' drag has been doing a good job flattening our skate lanes.

Amazing post-Noque ski. Snow was gently falling as a group of us skied B, Z, H, and G. Groomer was out and about as we skied, and no parts of the trail looked like they had gone more than a day without fresh corduroy. Always worth the trip!
