Amazing post-Noque ski. Snow was gently falling as a group of us skied B, Z, H, and G. Groomer was out and about as we skied, and no parts of the trail looked like they had gone more than a day without fresh corduroy. Always worth the trip!

This great trail system has excellent flow, beautiful forests, long flat stretches, challenging climbs, and fun descents. Parking lot was full by late morning today as Noque skiers came out in force as is usual on this Sunday. Expertly, and freshly groomed firm flat skate deck and deep classical tracks throughout. Three varieties of hot soup and sourdough bread. Heated outhouse at trail head! All volunteer work keeps this gem open.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Cooler temperatures and some fresh snow overnight groomed in nicely and made for some really good trail conditions. Lots of very happy skiers coming off the trails today.

Entire system being groomed this morning with 1" of fresh snow overnight. Skate lanes are in great shape after Dan went over with the big Ginzu and has set new track.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed all skate lanes before 10am and they are flat and firm. Classic tracks were really fast and firm. After grooming chores were complete I resisted the temptation to just go home and do more work and grabbed my skate stuff and hit the virgin corduroy. After about 100 ft I realized it was clearly the better choice. Skied D,G and it was a blast!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed skate lanes this morning. All classic tracks remain in excellent condition. Daytime temps pushing 40 should have minimal affect on trail conditions for the weekend. We will be grooming daily.

My wife and I skied around noon today and it was awesome! Beautiful sunshine and nicely groomed trails made for a fine afternoon of skiing. Looking forward to more of the same for the weekend!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We received about 6 inches of lake effect snow Monday night and Tuesday. We rolled it and used the drag on and then set track Tuesday afternoon. This morning we Ginzu groomed the entire trail system before 11am. Classic tracks are excellent as well as the skate decks. No measureable snow forecasted for the next couple days will have our system in fast and firm shape. Noque skiers should consider stopping by to stretch those travel legs a bit.

Firsthand: Classic Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We groomed in 6" of snow from Monday night. Dan is doing finishing work the rest of the week. Look for some great skiing and snowshoeing through the weekend. Skied classic in the afternoon with Rode Blue Multigrade for kick.

Classic tracks in excellent shape and the milder temps have greatly improved skating glide. A good base with almost daily snow over the past week. Conditions will hold well through the weekend.
