[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We drove 5 hours to ski at Spur Valley and arrived on a zero degree morning. Snow was slow going making everything harder. We skated every loop today (some twice) and have to say we love this place. The warming hut was really packed full today, but the fire was roaring hot and soup was delicious. Kudos to the groomers, well done! I followed both groomers for a while just admiring their Jeep tracked snow grooming set up. Thanks very much for the fantastic experience. A+.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Dan has all trails in excellent condition. Two feet of fresh snow yesterday morning plus another 2" during the day. Great classic skiing. Start Terva or Guru Green is good for kick in the cold fresh snow. Skate lanes have great coverage and the big hills are slower with the cold snow. Dan and Dave are out early Saturday morning grooming.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic

Very good classic conditions after a dusting of flurries overnight. Dan has skate lanes in perfect shape. Solid deck, and good edge. After almost 20" of snow last week, we have a great base.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
With all the heavy snow we received last week we were able to open H trail and an awful lot of happy skiers used it over the weekend. Our system is in really nice shape with firm skate decks and solid classic tracks. It was the first of six Kids Free Ski Lessons on Sunday and over 90 kids signed up so thanks to all the volunteers and coaches that are a part of this great program supporting the future of our great sport!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
We received another 5 inches last night and today so we groomed the entire system this morning. Dave and I started packing H trail this afternoon so we will have that open tomorrow. Classic tracks are very nice and with these colder temps the skate deck is firming up nicely as well. We have lots of snow and the views are breathtaking.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
We have received around 16 inches of snow in the last 2 days and it is good quality, cold snow. We have been rolling and setting track steady and I think it is fair to say we are now in mid Winter conditions. We plan to have 100% of the system open by the weekend. As of today the only trail still closed is H but with this much snow and cold temps we can now try to freeze the swamp down in Worels Woods.

Trails were groomed in the morning and the skate lanes were flat and fast. Occasional scattered debris on some trails but it was no problem to skate around. Worth the trip to get to snow.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Our trails remain in great shape. We had a full parking lot everyday through the Holidays. We groom everyday to keep things in tip top shape so if you have not skied with us you might want to consider giving us a try sometime.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
We received around 2 inches of fresh snow overnight so we were able to Ginzu groom all open trails this morning. Excellent classic tracks and the skate deck remains firm. H is still not open as we have not gotten enough cold and snow to freeze the swamp through Worel's Woods.
