Talked with our groomer Terry who just finished up: Brown Trail (lighted), and the campground cutoff road have been run over with the groomer (no track), as well as flat practice loops near base of sledding hill. Some ice spots and some small bare spots. He attempted to groom out from the junction up at the sledding hill to the picnic area bathrooms (Purple) with no luck and turned around. Back to rock skis. Remainder of the Greenbush trails had a lot of pooling water yesterday and many dirty/bare areas.

Best night of the year at Greenbush - skied a couple of greens with the HS team tonight and it was really great - fast, flat, and fun! Some leaves, light debris, and a couple of small ice/dirt spots, but very minimal. Could have used A skis, but with chasing around the kids, I went with my second best.
Please be courteous and preserve the trail conditions by staying off during the warmup Wednesday and Thursday. We anticipate that the WDNR will close the trails and post signs at the trailhead. Come back on Friday when we plan to have fresh grooming.

Skied the purple loop. The lit loop was very skiable with solid coverage, mostly. Otherwise, a nominal snow coverage, very thin; with many, many dirty areas -- difficult to avoid; especially on up-
and downhills. Lots of debris in the skating lane. I would call classical lanes not skiable, due to the amount of old debris sticking out, and newly-fallen leaves, needles; and a very shallow track.

Skated Purple to Green to Purple about 10 AM Tuesday. The classic tracks were in good shape along my entire route with just a little debris in a few places. The skating deck was good, and the occasional bit a debris didn't interfere with skiing. Evidence of yesterday's grooming was still visible along the edge of the trail.

Not perfect but pretty darn close. The trails were freshly groomed this morning and a classic track was set. The weather was perfect as I skied the purple and green trails. Due to our lack of heavy winds recently there is very little debris on the trails, even those that go through pine plantations. There is some dirt kicked up here and there and some leaves/pine needles in the classic track but nothing to stop you from having a good ski.

I skied the green loop with my good skis with no concerns. The trail was a little soft but very skiable. It looked like the trail was skied-in by skiers rather than recently groomed. If it gets groomed it should be perfect.

Skated all the trails this morning with by best skis. They were all very good for skating. The classic tracks were not groomed. I'm not sure if there is enough snow to put in good classic tracks.

Skied purple trail at 4 pm. Only had A skis with me...will use B skis there this weekend if no new snow arrives. A few exposed areas on trail, no ski damage though. Still a good time, groomer did a nice job with what was there (for skate...too thin for tracks).

Skated the Purple lots of small rocks and gravel brought up from pole plants. No base so rock skis only, many places where skiers push off exposed bare ground. Think Snow!

[ B skis ]
Classic skied, beautiful, bright sunlight, blue skies -- purple trail well covered, no obstacles, maybe a 2-3" base. No set tracks, snow soft, groomer working to improve conditions. Great to be on skis, more snow would greatly improve conditions. Overall rating 5/10.
